Obama's Berlin Speech Grade = D +

Well they did what they could, the hype, the build up, even having a free rock concert open the show, lights, camera, action.

Oops, we didn't know that the pretty monument we chose to speak from, is actually a monument to war! A monument with an angel of war atop mocking the rest of Europe for the bloody losses Germany inflicted on it? Hitler loved it so much he moved it there himself!

Following two popular German Rock bands, Barack Obama did a great favor for the German people, he gave them a lesson, a history lesson, unfortunately it was a lesson on "their" history?

As that one kinda fell flat out over the cannabis smoke rising from the crowd, he ventured further pushing the envelope of his briefing on German history, as Barack Obama understands it, so he elaborated on his broader tutorial, he reminisced how both our countries had fought in world war two... "together"... he then reminded the German people never to forget how we aided them during the Berlin air lift.

. ...Okay?

When that tack of trying to engage the rock and roll oriented crowd in the matters of Obama's historical cliff notes - the very matters he  found so important he had to share it with these party goers - he traveled around the world on the US tax payers dime to do it - in a campaign plane with Obama'08 Logo's all over it - seemed to be failing, he turned to what he knows best, socialism!

Before launching into his signature theme, he decided to do a little America bashing, he accused our great nation of committing war crimes and then made all of Boston stand and applaud as he accused them of raising sea levels and destroying our planet.  At this point "The One" broke out in a predictable line of Marxist rhetoric, a line of rhetoric that he has been unexpectedly successful in espousing in America of late, so he blathered on about how we need to lift all people, and homogenize the world, the poor, the disenfranchised, in every corner of the globe, blah, blah, blah.

He went on and on for 35 minutes, as he rambled over and missed his applause breaks, the few of them there were, as he emphasized parts of the speech that were not a natural place to do so.

The speech itself was lame, empty of any substance whatsoever that would have made it worth taking the time to watch!

He gave a speech even a Jr Senator from Illinois could have given... Oh, ya, he is only a jr Senator from Illinois...?

How Many More "Thousands Gone In A Instant" Moments Will It Take?

Consider for a moment - if in the hour of reckoning in WW2, as Patton rolled through Europe, and the enemy had retreated back to there homeland, that Roosevelt had come to the unthinkable (now) conclusion that we had, for all intents and purposes, got the job done, and re-deployed our troops...Specken De Deutch?

Roosevelt, Truman, & Kennedy.

Names BHO likes to throw around, he will speak soon near an icon of freedom made famous by speeches from some of America's greatest leaders. And that would not be such a big deal, if maybe he even remotely resembled or maintained similar values of any of those great men! (Or was at least the POTUS?)

BHO has not remained consistent on any singe issue throughout this campaign, but nothing could be more true with respect to that than his stance on the war in Iraq.

He drew all the anti war radical Code Pink/Marxist Academia/Liberal Elitist types in just like a good used car salesman would by hammering away at there selling point; "We Can Not Win, We Should Have Never Gone, Bring Our Troops Home Now"!

But now he has completely reversed himself and his new mantra is; "Because of the Sunni's and some other affiliated conditions in Iraq, we are winning, so now it's time to re-deploy our troops into Afghanistan"?

Now, the gun issue, the campaign finance issue, and all the long laundry list of reversals on the part of BHO pail in comparison with this, how can these liberal anti war types any longer support BHO?

But I digress...

We in America have always fought for what we believe in, namely freedom, and if any reasonable, intelligent person takes time to study the time line from 9/11 to the present, it is clear, even the liberals were in agreement we had to act, and act then!

In my view George Bush will go down in history as one of the most courageous POTUS' in history. He took the fight to the enemy, and won. He spared his Nation from repeated terrorist attacks, and stood firm for what America needed to do, and allowed the military to do their job, even in the face of being vilified by the populist MSM of the time! (His domestic policy aside, HA HA!)

Bush understands, as I believe does John McCain, that the fastest, most economical way to get what everyone wants, our brothers, husbands, and son's home, is to win the war. Our generation could take a lesson from our forefathers in this regard!

We ought never fight a war we didn't fully intend to win. Once committed it is the highest form of treason to undermine that end!

Now, I am certainly all for taking the fight to Afghanistan, and eventually killing the last standing terrorist in the badlands of Pakistan! But we must remember the lessons of history, we must trust our Generals to fight the wars and make our politicians ensure they have the tools and latitude to do their jobs when called upon.

Obama though, can not even admit he was wrong on the Surge, let alone making policy without even consulting the main player in the theater of operations, General Petraeus?

Unfortunately, our greatest sorrow may very well yet be ahead of us, if we let ourselves wake up one day in 2009 and realize we let a con man win the White House. An inexperienced, egotistical, lightweight who believes he is better qualified to make military decisions than a man like Gen. David Petraeus, who has spent his whole life studying the art of war.

Wars are fought on the basis of right and wrongs, of absolutes, not as BHO would like to have it by attempting to make it a political issue.

John McCain was right to say, "I would rather lose an election, and win a war". BHO can hardly say the same!

How many more terrorist produced "thousands killed in an instant" moments will it take to convince the most liberal senator in congress?

As For Obama, At Least It Makes Some Sense...Now.

You know, when Barack Obama first announced he would run for POTUS, I thought the same things a lot of you thought, he was probably too inexperienced - let him ripen in the Senate for a full term at least, or two then we'll talk. At least before I waste much time trying to figure him out. I wondered if the democrats, or we as a country would unify behind a black candidate, and I remembered Colin Powell and how I was excited to learn more about his potential POTUS run years earlier, and so I thought why not.

I moved on.

I certainly questioned his political thinking being as we know so little about him really, I became much more concerned as I began to uncover the questionable details of Sen. Obama, such as, he has the single most liberal voting record in a Senate half full of Finstein and Kennedy types. So, like many of you I suppose, I was expectedly diametrically opposed to his political view pretty much from the start.

I moved on.

Then Iowa came and went, and I started to look a little more closely, and thats where this odd journey sort of began really. I remember the day I heard the rumors of Obama's Muslim connections, and quickly learned that though he does have a Muslim ancestry, the role it played was limited in large part to his early childhood.

I moved on.

But then I read an article about how Obama refused to cross his heart during the National Anthem. Upon further investigation I soon discovered that the Senator had said this was an isolated instance and that he indeed had no issues with that particular show of Patriotism. The video was somewhat revealing though as all the POTUS candidates stood in a line, all of them there on a stage, trying to woo the favor of the American voters, all, with crossed heart, with the one glaring noted exception. Fair enough I thought, hey I have done the same thing I'm sure. (not while on a stage running for POTUS....but.)

I moved on.

I moved on alright, but I did not get very far as I soon was actually dumbfounded by the next controversial item Barack would challenge me to understand. In a taped interview, Obama, in his usual methodical talking point style of speaking, made the curious announcement that he would not wear "that" pin. He was of course referring to the American flag pin so many of our politicians have worn since the tragic attacks of 9/11. Now I was a little confused, why, what possible reasoning would an otherwise sensible man have to make such a contrary announcement to his declared goal of being POTUS?

I went ahead and moved on.

Thinking it was an odd coincidence, well now, I really am just shaking my head at this point, wondering what we have here, and no sooner did the thought get to my gray matter then did I tune into the evening news just in time to catch Michelle Obama giving here " I finally feel good about America" speech. (Silence) Well I'm on the phone now confirming the fact with my closest friends that I'm not having some psychotic episode and imagining all this stuff.

I wearily moved on.

I was okay a few days later when it was announced in the countries leading newspapers that Michelle Obama had written her thesis on racism. After reading through a transcript of it I felt better as it seemed she had been obsessed with racial inequality for most of her life at this point, and I would likely not need to go on medication. This of course raised new questions about the Obama's and what is their true underlying motivations?

I reluctantly moved on.

Doing may best to get back on track and focus on what matters in terms of the message Sen. Obama was running on and how he planned to effect it. It wasn't hard to figure the message part, "Change" right? Sure. Now lets see here,... how he planned to implement it...hmm...how he ...planned... Thats right, the closer I looked, and the harder I tried to find out the real plan of action behind the "change", the more I got the sinking feeling we were dealing with a real live Bill Clinton impostor. We all remember 1992 and how Rush crucified Bill on his empty promises. He promised everything and anything to anyone who asked, and it worked. I learned Barack Obama is definitely implementing that empty promises strategy.

I was still trying my best to move on.

I felt vindicated in thinking this recently as low and behold one of Obamas own slipped up in an interview and told the truth. Oopps his former (she was fired for saying this) foreign affairs adviser told us all that Obama would not execute even the parts of his plan (on Iraq withdrawal) that he had delineated. She said he had no clear idea of how he would pull the troops out of Iraq and would make that call at that time after he accessed the situation on the ground in Iraq.

I was running out of excuses to move on.

This whole time as I read the papers, watch the news, listen to radio and see the debates one thing has been clearly present throughout, the handling of Obama with kit gloves by virtually everyone who comes in contact with him? SNL parodied this phenomenon recently. It is amazing how anyone, even the venerable old guard Republican pundits have laid off any penetrating questioning of the good Senator from Ill? It baffles me.

Determined to get to the bottom of this, I moved on.

This flaccid "Don't ask, Won't tell" kind of policy, in my view is still in tact, even in the disturbing light of what we all know would be the end of any other politicians career.

Just as I think we've seen it all with this guy, comes the biggest, most frightening revelation to date. The Rev. Wright affair. So much has been written about this that I won't try to elaborate except to observe that;

He knew he was a anti Semite.
He chose to be married by him.

He knew his anti American sediments.
He chose to have that vile man baptize his children.

He heard the abhorrent rhetoric from the pews.
He continued to go for 20 years.

He knew the psychic illness that was affecting his church.
He did nothing about it.

He was asked directly about it.
He lied.

Now some of these earlier odd things that couldn't be put into perspective, suddenly all kinda fall into place. Nothing Obama could say, nothing he can do will reanimate his candidacy in my veiw. That being said, the scary thing is most Democrats may be willing to go along for the ride, and whatever is up next?

But as for me, well I'm just moving on without him.

But at least now it all makes some sense...
